I am a second year Civil Engineering student studying for a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering at Abu Dhabi Men’s College. My degree will be awarded June 2013. On 12 of July 2010 I reserved an email from my college about this summer scholarship in Germany. I am extremely interested in the summer scholarship that you are offering.

My reasons for applying are largely professional, as I am a good student with a keen interest in onsite training. I am aware of the scale and scope of Daimler Engineering and of the scholarship scheme and feel that it affords me a unique opportunity to implement my theoretical skills base on the ground for the benefit of Daimler AG. Health and Safety are particular ethical concerns in the engineering field and Germany has an excellent track record in this regard.

My volunteering work has enabled me to reinforce my personal skills and have provided for me many opportunities, working in team as well as working individually.
